Me: Native to the New York area (Long Island or as locals pronounce it “Lawn Guy Land”) I first got into photography because of my favorite high school art teacher Mr. Lopez. After I had taken all of his classes, two years of ceramics and a year of sculpture he suggested that I try his photography class, which he was teaching for the first time during my senior year. For some reason I excelled at this and after a couple weeks I was helping all the other students with the cameras and darkroom. I then decided that I might have a future with this. After High school I attended The School of Visual Arts. Lets just say that was a few years ago. Once I was out of photo school I knew the next step was to assist Pros and learn as much as I can. I was very fortunate to have assisted some very prominent and skilled photographers who impressed upon me the value of preparation and thinking everything through. After taking pictures professionally for over twenty five years I can truly say that in spite of all the challenges this business can throw at you I still love what I do.
